Like most people, I view the New Year as a fresh-start. A do-over. A do-better. And one of my resolutions this year was to move away from the kitchen table and actually create a nice, cozy little work space for myself where I could write. My ideal space would have lots of polished hardwood and floor-to-ceiling shelves filled with inspiring books from my favorite authors. I’d have a nice desk, a comfy chair, and a place for all of my stuff. Everything would be neat and organized and extremely Zen-like.
Let’s be clear. That’s not going to happen. But I can dream, right? I figure, as long as I have someplace big enough to hold my laptop, mouse pad, and cup of coffee, I’m good.
Another thing I’m hoping to do better is updating this blog more often, and this is where I can use your help. Comment below or drop me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know what YOU would like to see here. Random stuff? Things I’ve learned? Behind the scenes scuttlebutt? Maybe some of the great books I’ve read? An eclectic mix?
I’m flexible; you tell me. In the meantime, I’ve got some cleaning and rearranging to do…
