It’s No Joke

April 5, 2020

Just when you think things are just about to even out, some force in the universe decides to say, “Hold my beer…”

I think everyone’s heard enough about Corona, though. I know I have. I’m not being insensitive. I’m not burying my head in the sand. I think we just need something else to read, look at, or do, too, because it’s overwhelming.

I’m going to deal with stress the way I always have: in books.

Whether I’m reading or writing them, books offer me an escape in the world of my choosing. I can find love, happiness, joy, humor, drama, fantasy – whatever I need in any given moment.

And even better, I love the way the reading community has come together. In a time of social distancing, we’ve found a way to connect with other avid readers and kindred spirits.

So take heart. This, too, shall pass. We’ve got books and we’ve got each other, so I know we’re going to get through it.

Love your books. When are you finishing Sanctuary series?

Thank you! I’m working on book four right now with a target date of September.

Love your encouraging words and that you didn’t focus on the virus. It is not the be-all end-all of the world – books are far more important (smile)!

? Thanks! Books keep me (mostly) sane amidst all the insanity.
